(PSI) was a Franklin, Tennessee operator of freestanding psychiatric inpatient and behavioral healthcare facilities, running 94 facilities across 32 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Universal Health Services acquired it for $3.1 billion in November 2010; it no longer operates as an independent company.
